SEWS CABIND Receives Fiat's Supplier of the Year

SEWS CABIND S.p.A., an Italian subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., has been awarded "Supplier of the Year" in the European electrics section by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. awards the best supplier every year in their designated three categories among more than 200 European suppliers. SEWS CABIND S.p.A. has been selected for "Supplier of the Year" in the European electrics section. This prize is the most prestigious award for Fiat suppliers. SEWS CABIND won it against not only its competitors in wiring harness business but also global electric and electronic component suppliers.

Fiat held a purchasing policy conference for European suppliers in Turin, Italy. At the conference, Mr. Takeo Endo, SEWS CABIND Managing Director and CEO, received the commemorative trophy from Mr. Alfredo Altavilla, CEO and COO of Fiat Europe, Africa, and Middle East.

Encouraged by winning this award, the Sumitomo Electric Group will continue its active efforts to contribute to the development of society through its business growth.
