Environmental Conservation Activities in the Philippines
First Sumiden Circuits, Inc. (FSCT), a member of our group that manufactures and sells printed circuits, is actively promoting environmental conservation activities in the surrounding area. At the Light Industry & Science Park (LISP) industrial park in Laguna Province, Philippines—where its factory is located—FSCT collaborates with local government authorities and nearby private companies to conduct cleanup activities along the shores of Laguna de Bay and within the industrial park itself. As environmental issues caused by improper waste management are severe in the Philippines, FSCT will continue to actively engage in environmental conservation activities, including cleanup campaigns.
Laguna de Bay Shore Cleaning
Laguna de Bay is the largest freshwater lake in the Philippines, located on the island of Luzon, southeast of the Manila Metropolitan Area.With an area of approximately 900 to 950 square kilometers and shaped like a crow’s footprint, it plays a vital role in supporting the surrounding fishing industry, providing water for agriculture and tourism, and supplying domestic water to approximately 15 million people. However, in recent years, pollution from domestic wastewater and agricultural and industrial waste has become increasingly severe, making water quality conservation a pressing issue.
As part of its water quality conservation efforts, in March 2026, FSCT collaborated with local government units (LGUs) and private companies in Laguna Province to conduct a lakeshore cleaning, collecting a total of 327.5 kg of waste. This activity was also held to commemorate “World Water Day” (March 22), and 25 FSCT employees participated.

Industrial Park Cleaning Activity with Neighboring Companies
On October 30, 2025, together with volunteers from within the LISP Industrial Park, FSCT participated in an industrial park-wide cleaning organized by the LISP Safety and Pollution Control Officers Association, collecting a total of 315 kg of waste (150 kg of non-biodegradable waste, 140 kg of biodegradable waste, and 25 kg of plastic bottles). 19 FSCT employees participated as volunteers.
This activity is part of the “Clean & Green Program,” which is implemented whenever the LISP Industrial Park determines that waste management measures are necessary, and is an initiative aimed at maintaining a safe, orderly, and environmentally conscious industrial park.

Initiatives During Earth Month
In the Philippines, April is designated as “Earth Month,” and activities focused on environmental protection and a sustainable future are intensified, particularly around Earth Day on April 22. Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1482, initiatives to raise awareness about global warming and natural disasters, as well as tree planting and environmental conservation efforts, are carried out by the government, businesses, and civic organizations.
In April 2025, as part of its Earth Month initiatives, FSCT distributed 247 saplings (81 rambutan, 20 guayabano, 50 indokarin, 36 mango, 10 santol, and 50 morabe) to its employees.

In addition, to encourage each employee to take environmental protection personally and to further energize these activities in the future, we held a contest to create digital posters and short videos under the theme “Our Power, Our Earth.” We received 11 entries for digital posters and 3 entries for short videos from our employees. We will continue to strive to raise environmental awareness among our employees while further energizing our Earth Month initiatives.

Contributing to Resin Recycling Activities Through the Green Earth Run
The LISP Safety and Pollution Control Officers Association (hereinafter SPCOA) regularly hosts fun runs with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and raising environmental awareness.At the “16th SPCOA Green Earth Run” held in March 2026, proceeds were donated to fund the production of PET bottle collection boxes for plastic recycling to be installed at schools in Kabuyao. 88 participants from FSCT took part in this fun run, and through their contribution to the proceeds, they worked to revitalize plastic recycling activities in the regional communities.
