Managing Operations

Automatically link splice data

Automatically link splice data from the worksite directly to your PC.

SpliceManager is an integrated cloud-based system that allows for managing a variety of data related to fusion splicing operations performed at the worksite. It allows for continuous monitoring of the state of splicing operations, while supporting the timely sharing of information between the office and worksite.

Monitor project progress

Visually track splicing operations, while managing progress of multiple projects.

SpliceManager allows you to track the progress of your project at a glance. Its graphs provide an easy-to-understand visualization so you can confirm the overall progress of the project.

View data on splicing quality

Set thresholds for splice loss to get a notification when splices exceed it.

SpliceManager allows for the custom setting of thresholds, such as splice loss and fiber cut angles, on a project-by-project basis. With SpliceManager, you can constantly monitor a project's quality as well as get alarm notifications on splicing status when an issue with quality occurs.

Manage the worksite and operator

Maps provide a visualization of the worksite letting you know who did what, when, and where.

When an operator unlocks the fusion splicer with their smartphone, the system automatically links when and by whom this was done. The GPS function also records the exact location of the operation and displays it as a pin on the map.

Easily assign and manage team members and devices even when managing multiple projects.

SpliceManager offers an efficient method for managing multiple projects at once. Splicers can be associated with team members, and these members can be easily assigned to devices and tasks. Administrators can also be set up, and team members can be notified by email when assigned to a project.

Pair automatically

At the worksite, operators and fusion splicers will be automatically paired as you have allocated them, when using the lock function.

No troublesome setups are required prior to using the fusion splicer. When the operator unlocks the fusion splicer with their smartphone, the system automatically links when and by whom an operation was performed.

Analyze data

Formulate precise business strategies by comparing and analyzing team members.

SpliceManager comprehensively manages team members and splice data, allowing you to objectively analyze your company's overall performance. It also allows you to compare project members and check the workload and strengths of each operator, so you can establish reliable guidelines for formulating business strategies that include equipment expansion and efficient human resource development.

Prevent loss and theft with SumiCloud™'s lock and locate functions.

Protect your valuable assets from loss and theft using your device's lock function. The locate function is also activated when a third party attempts to unlock your device without your permission, helping further deter crime. This serves as a security measure so you can better protect your valuable assets.

How would I obtain data from the field?

Onsite operators can use our SumiCloud™ app and connect to their splicer to share informatio from the field. The data is accessible on SpliceManager.

Data is not being updated on SpliceManager. What should I do?

The SumiCloud™ app needs to be active or in the background for it to automatically collect and send data. The transfer of the data can also be interrupted from a variety of reasons, such as weak connection or the app being closed. Please make sure your splicers are being connected to the app in the field.
