Successful completion of the world’s first long-term test of 3-Phase in 1 cryostat long-length HTS Cable(2002)

Sumitomo Electric, together with the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI), has successfully completed a long-term demonstration test of a three-core in one Cryostat type high-temperature long-length superconducting cable, and has verified the cable's performance.
