Establishment of Sintered Powder Metal Product Sales Company in Indonesia |

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. has established a sintered powder metal product sales company in Indonesia (P.T. Sumiden Powder Metal Indonesia). The company has been in operation since last November.
Advances in powder metallurgy technologies(*) have made it possible to economically mass-produce sintered powder metal products that can be used as key components of automobiles and other equipment. In the dramatically expanding Indonesian market, the newly established company is promoting sales of sintered products for use in two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The company is also ready to respond quickly to technical service and other local customer needs. |
