We Participated in Akasaka-Aoyama Cleanup Campaign

Hello, I’m Kanehira of the HR & Administration Div., Tokyo Head Office in Japan.

Recently we took part in the Akasaka-Aoyama Cleanup Campaign, the local cleanup initiative organized by the Akasaka Regional City Office in Tokyo. This was the third time for us to participate in the campaign. This time, we helped clean up the area around Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, where our Tokyo Head Office is located. This is an area where we walk on our daily commutes, making us committed to the cleanup with even more vigor than usual!!

Although we had not been aware of it in our daily commuting, there was garbage in various out-of-sight places, such as under plants. The campaign was held at the end of June and it was rather hot, but all participating members worked very hard and collected much garbage.

The next cleanup campaign will not be held until autumn. Once the campaign is resumed, we would like to continue to participate in it.

I found some garbage!!
