Leveraging its experience in vapor phase synthesis, Sumitomo Electric has established a unique GaN substrate fabrication process and started shipment of the samples.

Insulating tube for electric wire protection

Heat-shrinkable tubing is a plastic tube that shrinks in radial direction when heated by electron beam irradiation. It has a wide array of applications including protection of electric wire ends or electrical parts.

Environment-friendly electric wire

ECO-WIRE is a part of the IRRAX series of wires with irradiated insulation. It is used for internal wiring of electronic devices and features excellent resistance against heat, wear and flame. Environment-friendly ECO-WIRE is lead- and halogen-free.

Used in compact products

Ultrafine copper wire (16 to 30 microns in diameter) is best suited for small-diameter multicore shielded flexible cables used in the folding and rotating mechanisms of notebook computers or camera-equipped cellular phones.
