40G Optical Demux Integrated APD ROSA
The 40G Optical Demux Integrated APD ROSA includes 4 channel APD’s and quad TIA in a miniature package enabling transmission distance of 40GBASE-ER4 with high sensitivity of -23dBm/ch and total low power dissipation of 400mW.
40G QSFP+(Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus) xSR4
Sumitomo Electric expands its 40G QSFP+ offering. Building on our success with QSFP+ LR4, Sumitomo Electric has developed a new generation of 40-Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) QSFP+ modules. The xSR4 is similar to the 40GBASE-SR4 interface but it extends supported link lengths to 300 m and 400 m respectively on OM3 and OM4 multimode fiber cables.
40GBASE-ER4 modules provide support for the 40G QSFP+ series products for subsequent network upgrades. The 40G QSFP+ ER4 module is ideal for interconnecting data centers and for high-capacity metro Ethernet applications. The product utilizes our integrated 40G Optical Demux Integrated APD ROSA and supports 40G transmission over extended distances up to 40 km.
100G CFP SR10
The 100G CFP SR10 built to the CFP MSA specification and IEEE 802.3ba compliant 100GBASE-SR10 are designed to support high-performance data communications and telecommunications equipment for applications such as core router inter-links and data center aggregation. These modules are designed for very short reach applications up to 100 m and 150 m respectively on OM3 and OM4 parallel optical fiber cables.
100G CFP ER4
Sumitomo Electric has commercialized the 100GbE CFP transceiver supporting the ER4 standard for reaches of 40 km transmission with single-mode fiber. This product will help facilitate the high-performance 100Gbps optical network equipment for use in datacenters and service provider networks.
